About PCI

Polymer Chemistry Innovations (PCI) has been providing specialty polymers and related services to a wide variety of markets for more than 15 years. Founded in 1990 by Bernard Gordon III, PhD (then a professor of polymer science at Penn State University), the company has grown to encompass state-of-the-art facilities in Tucson, Arizona, and the Chocolate Bayou manufacturing area of Texas.

Our unique resources facilitate a complete range of R&D services, process development, specialty polymer synthesis and full-scale commercial production. Our polymers can be found in a multitude of products and applications. In addition, our synthetic capabilities and process development expertise have contributed to the success of a significant number of research projects and new product commercialization programs. We are also the sole global manufacturer and supplier of Aquazol®, our proprietary water-soluble polymer that serves a broad range of products and applications.

PCI’s staff of PhDs and other experienced chemists can bring a polymer from its initial laboratory phase all the way to full-scale commercialization.
